Make your home look super neat and tidy with our handmade farmhouse style shoe rack and bench and optional Coat Rack to match, this is hand crafted and built to order for you, so if you wish to customise it outside of the dimensions then let us know and we can build it for you.

The Shoe Rack and coat rack is designed and made by me, it is a great addition to any hallway, boot room or living space. Each piece of wood is hand selected by me to ensure I will be happy with the result. I like to make sure there is some character in the wood like knots and nice grain patterns where possible. They are all made from sustainably sourced wood which is all grown in the UK. Every piece of wood I cut to size and plane to the desired dimensions and then a light sand it done, and it is waxed using a high quality furniture wax. Please remember each coat rack is unique, grain patterns, edges and knots are all different, no one is the same.

I supply these with cast iron coat hooks which are made here in the UK, they are heavy duty with character hooks.

It’s made from solid wood and is very sturdy holding up 125kg (that’s my tested weight), so you can sit on it to put your shoes on and take them off.

The base is painted in a range of colours, 1 coat of Sealer and 3 coats of top coat, the base is painted in Farrow and Ball Colours Dead Flat for a truely Matt Finish, if you want a different colour from what I have listed then let me know which one from the Farrow & Ball range and I can paint in that colour for you.

There are 2 shelves to put your shoes on making great storage for your shoes in any Hallway, Utility, Porch or any room in the house. The are no screw heads visible on this Shoe Rack unlike some of the ones on Etsy.

The top is waxed using a high quality wax and I can do the top part in a range of colours, these include, Dark Oak (as in the picture), Antique Pine, Clear Wax, Jacobean, Medium Brown, Rustic Pine, Spanish Mahogony, and Walnut.

I do 48cm to 120cm width, the height is 45cm tall and the depth is 30cm with an Internal depth of 28cm to allow for the overhang of the top. I do also have other listings with a deeper version also.

This is fully assembled so there is no need to build this, unpack it and it’s ready to use.

Please remember that this is a handmade product and as such there will be slight variations, the grain pattern, and the wax colour can vary slightly depending on the variations in the wood. Wood is a natural product and can move slightly depending on humidity and can split, I would not recommend this in a bathroom for example.
